Narrative Description: Description of the Incident: Customer traveled with two cats (separate kennels) to Anchorage and upon arrival, one was deceased in its crate.

Description of the Cause of the Incident: The customer refused to allow a necropsy be performed as she stated the cat was already being treated for cardiomyopathy and was 14 years old. Upon arrival, the customer agreed that Continental was not responsible for the death of the animal, due to the age and pre-existing condition of her cat.

Description of any corrective action taken: None. The death was not transit related. The animal died of a pre-existing condition.
