Narrative Description of Incident Puppy was being shipped from FWA to EWR. In Chicago, puppy was very weak and minimally responsive. It was vomiting and had diarrhea. In ORD, AA contacted the Shipper and Consignee, and also consulted with a vet to determine if the animal could be shipped from ORD to EWR
Narrative Description of Cause of the Incident Puppy died before it could be transported from ORD to EWR; hence, a necropsy was performed. The results showed the dog had pneumonia
