NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION

Description of the Incident: Dakota arrived in Denver lying in his crate deceased.

Description of the Cause of the Incident: A necropsy was performed at Continental’s expense and the pathologist noted that Dakota suffered from a condition called “Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC)” which caused Dakota to suffer hemorrahaging. Cardio myopathy (abnormality of the heart muscle) was also noted and contributed to the death of this animal.

Description of any corrective action taken: None. The death of this pet was not transit related.
