Description of animal (including name): Dog (Unknown: breed, name, sex, age of pet)

Narrative description of incident: A dog in a kennel arrived in Seattle in a distressed state. Seattle ramp agents discovered that the dog had blood around its mouth and there was blood splatter inside the kennel. It appeared that the dog had been chewing on the kennel and had scrapped its gums in the process. Passenger was immediately advised of the situation at Seattle baggage claim.

Narrative description of the cause of the incident: Dog inside kennel appeared to be chewing on the kennel when the dog arrived in baggage claim. The dog’s gums appeared to be bleeding. The dog seemed to be distressed.
