Narrative:
Upon arrival of Midwest Airlines flight 801 at Milwaukee Wisconsin from Los Angeles, CA, ramp personnel unloading the forward cargo compartment observed a dog that was motionless. The dog was taken to the cargo facility and the owner notified.
Cause of Incident:
The exact cause of death is unknown as a necropsy was not performed. Midwest offered to pay customer for the costs associated with the necropsy but the customer refused.
Corrective Actions:
No corrective actions taken as the exact cause of the incident is unknown.
