Pet Relief Areas

San Diego International Airport (SAN) provides pet relief areas for traveling pets. These areas are designed to ensure the comfort and convenience of pets and their owners.

Pre-Security Locations

• Terminal 1: Located outside the terminal, near the ground transportation plaza.
• Terminal 2: Situated outside the terminal, south of the Terminal 2 West pet relief area on Level 1.

Post-Security Locations

• Terminal 1: There are two post-security spots, one in the West Rotunda on Level 2, across from the elevator, and another in the East Rotunda on the ground level, past security.
• Terminal 2: Located on Level 2, near Gates 34–35.

Amenities

The pet relief areas are equipped with waste bags and trash receptacles to maintain cleanliness. These facilities are accessible and designed to accommodate travelers with pets.
