Breeze Airways welcomes small cats and dogs in the cabin on domestic flights. Pets travel as your personal item in an approved carrier under the seat in front of you. Breeze does not accept pets as checked baggage or cargo. Only five pets are allowed per flight on a first-come, first-served basis, so book early.

Pets as carry-on?: Yes

Yes, in-cabin pet travel is available.

Carrier requirements: - Maximum dimensions: 17" L × 8" W × 13" H - Hard- or soft-sided carriers accepted (soft-sided recommended) - Must be well-ventilated and leakproof - Must fit completely under the seat in front of you

Weight and age limits: - Maximum 25 lbs (pet + carrier combined) - Pet must be at least 8 weeks old at travel time

Per passenger: - One pet carrier per guest - One pet per carrier (even if combined weight is under 25 lbs)

Capacity: - Only five pets allowed per flight (first-come, first-served)

During travel: - Pet must remain in carrier during boarding, flight, and deplaning - Carrier counts as your personal item - You may bring one additional personal item (can be stowed overhead)

Important: Pets are not allowed in First Class, Bulkhead rows, Exit rows, or Breeze Ascent seating. Reserve Extra Legroom or Standard seats only.

Note: Pet carriers do not fit under seats in Breeze Ascent cabin configuration, even if you purchase an additional seat.

Documentation Requirements

Vaccination records: Breeze recommends traveling with your pet's vaccination papers, but they are not required for domestic travel.

Check-in: You must check in with your pet at the airport ticket counter.

Service animals: To travel with a trained service dog, you must submit the DOT Service Animal Air Transportation Form to Breeze via their Contact Center prior to travel.

Seating restrictions: - Pets are not permitted in First Class, Bulkhead rows, Exit rows, or Breeze Ascent seating - Book Extra Legroom or Standard seats only - If anyone on your reservation has a First Class seat, you will not have the option to add a pet

International Travel

Breeze Airways does not operate international flights. All Breeze routes are domestic within the United States.

Airline Fees

In-cabin pet fee: $75–$99 per one-way flight, per pet carrier (fee charged at checkout).

Refund policy: Pet fees are non-refundable after the flight departs. You may remove a pet from your reservation up to 24 hours before departure for BreezePoints credit. Pet charges will not be issued as BreezePoints after the flight has flown.
