Report:

Description of the Incident: Animal was deceased upon arrival (inside its kennel) at Oklahoma City.

Description of the Cause of the Incident: According to the necropsy, veterinarian stated “…The trachea was noted to be collapsed along entire length on dorsal aspect, with rings only complete around ventral 2/3 aspect of trachea and muscle layer folded into lumen of trachea…. Presumable cause of death: Asphyxiation due to hypoplastic and collapsing trachea.”

Description of any corrective action taken: Death was not transit related or caused by Continental Airlines, so no corrective action necessary.
