Description of Incident: Upon arrival on HA238 on May 30, 2019, our ramp agent found the dog unresponsive. Ramp Assistant Manager, Christopher Goroza, was notified and met owner to advise him that his dog passed. Cargo Sales Senior Manager, Pilialoha Wang, also spoke to pet owner.
Cause of Incident: Airway insufficiency to a brachycephalic nose
Corrective Action Taken: Cargo Sales refunded the pet fees back to the original form of payment.
