A Mastiff named Hirtsy arrived in Chicago, IL with self-inflicted injuries to its nails, gums and tongue. Hirtsy clawed and chewed at its wooden crate during the first leg of his flight. A veterinarian examined Hirsty and cleared him to continue travel in metal kennel.
