January 2022 Airline Pet Travel Report
Pet incidents for the month of November, 2021.
We had one injury to report for this month of a female German Shepard, Reese, on Alaska Flight 73 from Sitka to Anchorage, with a stop in Juneau. Upon arrival it was discovered Reese had chewed through the side of the kennel and as a result had minor injuries to her mouth, tongue, & teeth.
The owner did giver her a sedative prior to departure as she knew Reese doesn't travel well but it did not appear to work.
No corrective action taken for this incident.
Happy and Safe travels everyone!
