Pet incidents for the month of March, 2013.
Hawaiian Airlines reported the loss of a dog. The dog chewed through the grating and escaped. It ran away towards the control tower, HA employees searched for an hour and a half without luck. They continued to keep an eye out for the dog for the next month until the dog was found on April 24th. The Airline reports that the dog escape due to no mishandling on their part. The airline did however give the owners four free nights at a hotel while the search was underway, they flew back to Honolulu on the 24th of April to retrieve the dog. The dog was initially lost on March 26th, 2013, and discovered alive on April 24th, 2013.
