Post-Security (Airside)
LAX operates eight indoor pet relief stations located beyond TSA security checkpoints, making it convenient for travelers with service animals or pets to remain airside without needing to exit and be rescreened.
Terminal 1
Located near Gate 13. This indoor facility is enclosed behind a solid or glass door and designated with the universal dog-on-leash icon.
Terminal 2
Located near Gate 21. Indoor service animal relief station accessible post-security.
Terminal 3
Located inside the open-air atrium. This indoor pet bathroom provides easy access for passengers in Terminal 3.
Terminal 4
Located along the connector/walkway to Tom Bradley International Terminal. Convenient for passengers transferring between terminals.
Terminal 5
Located near Gate 52B. Indoor dog relief area with standard amenities.
Terminal 6
Located inside the open-air atrium. Indoor pet relief station similar to Terminal 3's setup.
Terminals 7/8
Located between Gates 73 and 75B near the public telephones. Indoor facility serving the combined terminal area.
Tom Bradley International Terminal
Located near the entrance to the connector/walkway to Terminal 4. This indoor station serves international travelers and those connecting through TBIT.
Tom Bradley West Gates
The modern West Gates concourse (opened May 2021) includes a dedicated service animal relief area within its five-level, 750,000-square-foot facility. This state-of-the-art concourse serves both international and domestic flights.
Pre-Security (Landside)
LAX provides three outdoor pet relief areas on the Lower/Arrivals Level for passengers who haven't yet passed through security or are picking up arriving pets.
Outdoor Station 1
Located on the Lower/Arrivals Level between Terminals 1 and 2. Fenced outdoor area accessible pre-security.
Outdoor Station 2
Located on the Lower/Arrivals Level between Parking Structures 5 and 6. Convenient for passengers parking at LAX.
Outdoor Station 3
Located on the Lower/Arrivals Level at the east end of Terminals 7/8. Fenced outdoor relief area.
