High Mountain Marketplace – Second Floor

Located between the B and C Concourses on the second floor of the terminal building. This indoor pet relief area (Bark Park) is fully enclosed with artificial turf, access to running water, and waste disposal supplies (mutt mitts). Within easy walking distance from all airline gates, making it convenient for last-minute pre-flight relief stops.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Gate K9 – South

Located south of the terminal near the Ticketing Lobby, just outside the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter. This outdoor Bark Park offers nearly 700 sq. ft. of fenced space.

Gate K9 – North

Located north of the terminal outside Door D through baggage claim, near ground transportation. This is the largest outdoor relief area with more than 1,000 sq. ft. of space.

Important Rules & Guidelines

  • Leash Required: Animals must remain on a leash and under control at all times
  • Clean-Up Mandatory: Pet owners must pick up after their animals. Report any messes to airport staff by calling 775-328-6600
  • Distance Requirements: Keep animals at least 10 feet away from K9 police dogs, Paws4Passengers therapy dogs, or working service dogs
  • No Unattended Pets: Animals should never be left alone
  • Service Animals: Trained service animals are welcome throughout the airport at any time
