High Mountain Marketplace Location

Located on the second floor of the terminal building between the B and C Concourses in the High Mountain Marketplace area. This fully-enclosed Bark Park is within walking distance of all airline gates, making it convenient for service animals and pets to find relief before flights.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Gate K9 - South

Located south of the terminal near the Ticketing Lobby, just outside the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter. This outdoor pet relief area offers nearly 700 square feet of space.

Features: * Fully fenced with ADA accessibility * Running water * Mutt mitts for waste cleanup * Fire hydrant * Canopy for weather protection

Gate K9 - North

Located north of the terminal outside Door D, accessible through Baggage Claim by ground transportation. This is the largest pet relief station at RNO with more than 1,000 square feet of space.

Important Rules & Guidelines

  • Leash Requirement: Animals must be kept on a leash and under control at all times
  • Supervision: Animals should not be left unattended
  • Distance Requirements: Animals must remain at least 10 feet away from K9 police dogs, Paws4Passengers airport therapy dogs, or any working service dogs
  • Cleanup Policy: Animal owners must report all messes (urination/defecation) by using a courtesy phone or calling 775-328-6600 and must remain at the location until janitorial staff arrives
  • Accessibility: All three animal relief areas are ADA accessible and within walking distance from airline gates
