Pre-Security Locations

Reno-Tahoe International Airport offers two pre-security pet relief areas, known as Bark Parks, which are fully fenced and ADA accessible. These areas provide running water, mutt mitts for cleaning up after pets, a fire hydrant, and a canopy for inclement weather.

• Gate K9 – South: Located south of the terminal near the Ticketing Lobby, just outside the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter, with nearly 700 sq. ft. of space.
• Gate K9 – North: Located north of the terminal outside Door D through baggage claim by ground transportation, with more than 1000 sq. ft. of space.

Post-Security Location

A post-security pet relief area is available on the second floor of the terminal building between the Concourses in the High Mountain Marketplace. This area is fully enclosed and provides access to running water. All Bark Parks are within walking distance from the airline gates, allowing animals to find relief before their flight.

Please ensure to pick up after your pet to maintain cleanliness in these areas.
