Pre-Security (Landside)
Between International Parking Garage and Terminal 2 Parking Garage
Honolulu International Airport features a fully fenced grassy area under palm trees located between the International Parking Garage and Terminal 2 Parking Garage. This pet relief station is designed for service animals, pets in transit, and working airport animals.
Amenities: * Fresh water provided * Plastic waste bags supplied * Trash receptacle on-site * Partially enclosed with low fence * Clearly marked with signage
Important: While the area is fully enclosed, the airport requires all animals to remain leashed and under the direct control of their owner/handler at all times. Owners are expected to clean up after their pets.
Post-Security (Airside)
HNL provides additional Service and Transit Animal Relief Stations in the sterile (post-security) areas for travelers who need to access facilities after clearing security.
Terminal 1 Ground Level
C.B. Lansing Garden – Indoor pet relief area located on the ground level of Terminal 1.
Terminal 2 Ground Level
Hawaiian Garden – Indoor service animal relief station located on the ground level of Terminal 2.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 also has a dedicated Animal Relief Station for passengers using this terminal.

Passengers with disabilities traveling with service animals can contact their air carrier to: * Request assistance to the Airport Animal Quarantine Holding Facility (AAQHF) * Arrange transport to baggage claim * Request a transport chair if needed
