• Tip: This pet relief station is outside the terminal. Visit it before check-in and security screening, or after you collect your bags on arrival.

• Terminal Access: Animals are not allowed inside KOA terminal buildings, with these exceptions:
  • A "seeing eye" or "hearing ear" dog, or another animal certified as trained to perform such functions
  • An animal properly confined for shipment with or by an air carrier, if the animal is legally allowed in the state
  • Animals with authorized law enforcement personnel, such as detection or emergency response animals
• Guide/Service Dogs: Guide and service dogs are not considered "pets." They may qualify for modified State of Hawaii rabies quarantine import requirements under strictly enforced conditions.
