Post-Security (Airside)

DFW has a pet relief station inside security in four terminals. You do not need to leave the terminal or go back through TSA screening to use them.

Terminal A

• Located near Gate A29.

Terminal B

• Located near Gate B28.

Terminal C

• The official list does not include a pet relief area inside security for Terminal C.
• You can use DFW's free post-security transportation to reach an airside pet relief station in another terminal.

Terminal D

• Located near Gate D18.

Terminal E

• Located near Gate E31.

Pre-Security (Landside)

These dog bathroom areas are outside the entry doors on the lower level. If you are already past security, you will need your boarding pass and a valid ID to re-enter the terminal.

Terminal A

• Located outside the entry doors near A8.

Terminal C

• Because of construction, a temporary pet relief area is in the parking garage near C17.

Terminal D

• Two locations: outside the entry doors near D15 and near D29.

Terminal E

• Two locations: outside the entry doors near E2 and near E38.

Amenities & Rules

• Who can use them: Only pets traveling with a ticketed passenger may use the designated areas. The pet relief areas also serve as the service animal relief areas.
• Leash policy: Pets and service animals must be on a leash at all times at DFW Airport.
• Carriers: If you are flying out of DFW with your pet, keep the required pet carrier with you.
• Law enforcement canines: Your pet may not have any contact with law enforcement canines, and you may not pet them. Keep your pet in its crate and/or on a leash. See the DFW Airport Code of Rules and Regulations, Chapter 3 (Miscellaneous Offenses).
• Re-entry: Using a pre-security (landside) area means going back through security. Bring your boarding pass and ID.
• Navigation: DFW's interactive terminal map and the GoodMaps wayfinding app can help you find the nearest pet relief station.
• Overnight pet care: Wag Hotels, a pet resort for cats and dogs, is located outside security near the airport. It is staffed 24 hours a day for pick-up and drop-off. The lobby is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
