Inside Security Areas
DFW International Airport provides designated pet relief areas inside security at each terminal, ensuring convenience for travelers with pets. These areas are located at:
- Terminal A - Near gate A29
- Terminal B - Near gate B28
- Terminal D - Near gate D18
- Terminal E - Near gate E31
These locations allow passengers to use the facilities without needing to exit and re-enter through security.
Outside Security Areas
For those needing pet relief areas before passing through security, designated locations are available outside entry doors on the lower level of each terminal. Note that a boarding pass and appropriate ID are required for re-entry into the terminal. The locations are:
- Terminal A - Near entry door A8
- Terminal C - Due to construction, a temporary pet relief area is located in the parking garage near C17
- Terminal D - Near entry doors D15 and D29
- Terminal E - Near entry doors E2 and E38
General Information
Pets must be on a leash at all times within the airport. Only pets accompanied by a ticketed passenger can use the designated relief areas. Additionally, contact between pets and Law Enforcement Canines is strictly prohibited.
