Pre-Security (Landside)
Lower Level - Door #19
Located outside Door #19 on the lower level, prior to Concourse E. This outdoor pet relief station is near the International Terminal and adjacent to the MTA Light Rail station. Ideal for arriving passengers or those who haven't yet cleared security.
Hourly Garage - Level 3
This pre-security animal relief area is located on Level 3 of the Hourly Garage and can be accessed via three routes:
From Concourse B: Use the B skywalk to the Hourly Garage. Take Tower B elevator to Level 3. Follow the white lined path to the right. Look for a concrete wall opening with a red awning overhead on the right. The paver pathway leads to the pet bathroom.
From Concourse D: Use the D skywalk to the Hourly Garage. Take Tower D elevator to Level 3. Follow the white lined path to the left. Look for a concrete wall opening with a red awning overhead on the left. The paver pathway leads to the relief area.
From Concourse C: Take the center elevator down to the Tunnel level (marked "T"). Follow the tunnel to the Hourly Garage. Take Tower C elevator up to Level 3. Follow the white lined path to the right. Look for a concrete wall opening with a red awning overhead on the right. The paver pathway leads to the service animal area.
Post-Security (Airside)
Concourse C
Located at the beginning of Concourse C, near the end of the B/C Connector, between Security Checkpoint C and the exit to Concourse C. This indoor dog bathroom is convenient for passengers departing from gates in Concourse C.
D/E Connector
Located in the connector between Concourses D and E, just beyond the Concourse D/E Security Checkpoint. Proceed to the right towards boarding gates in Concourse D to find this pet relief station.
Amenities & Rules
- Seating: Available in all four animal relief areas.
- Waste Disposal: Waste disposal bags and receptacles are provided at each location. Owners must clean up after their animals.
- Leash Requirement: Animals must be leashed when outside of a carrier while using any relief area.
- Non-Service Animals: Maryland state law requires non-service animals to be transported in a carrier while inside the terminal building unless using a designated relief area.
- Service Animals: Trained service animals (dogs or miniature horses) are permitted throughout the airport at any time.
