George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) has a Service Animal Relief Area (SARA) inside the secure area of every terminal, so you can use a pet relief station without leaving security.

Terminal A

• The pet relief area is near Gate A12.

Terminal B

• The service animal area is near Gate B1, across from The Fruteria.

Terminal C

• The dog bathroom is across from Gate C2.

Terminal D

• The pet relief station is across from Gate D12.

Terminal E

• The service animal relief area is across from Gate E12.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Terminal A

• An outdoor pet relief area is outside the terminal, near RideApp pickup.
• This location appears on the IAH Services page. The IAH Traveling with Pets page does not list it.

Terminal E

• An outdoor SARA is on the Arrivals Level 1.
• Directions: From inside Terminal E, exit through Door E-103. Carefully cross all traffic lanes. The outdoor relief area is on the other side of the street.

Amenities & Rules

• Crating requirement: All pets and emotional support animals must stay crated while inside the terminal.
• Who can use them: The relief areas serve service animals, pets and their owners.
• Maps: Houston Airports publishes an IAH SARA location map. The official Houston Airports app also offers turn-by-turn directions inside the airport.
