Indoor Pet Relief Area – Between Concourses A and C
Jacksonville International Airport's indoor pet relief area is conveniently located post-security between Concourses A and C, near the Food Court. This facility opened in November 2016 and provides a comfortable space for service animals and pets to relieve themselves while waiting for flights.
Features & Amenities: * Artificial K9 Turf: The 22' x 36' area features drainage-friendly artificial turf that can be easily hosed down * Automatic Flushing System: A sanitary sewer drain beneath the turf automatically flushes every 45 minutes * Odor Control: Dedicated air handling equipment keeps the space fresh and odor-free * Supplies Provided: Pickup bag dispensers and waste receptacles are available * Seating Area: A mock front porch area with seating for pet owners * Handwashing Sink: Conveniently located for cleanup * Colorful Fire Hydrant: A fun touch for your four-legged traveler * PA System: Airport announcements are audible in the relief area * CCTV Monitoring: The area is monitored for safety

Outdoor Pet Relief Area – Baggage Claim Level
For travelers who haven't yet passed through security, an outdoor pet relief area is located outside Baggage Claim near Bag Belt 8 on the south side of the terminal. This fenced area provides a convenient option for pets arriving at or departing from Jacksonville International Airport.
Important Information
- Leash Requirements: Pets must remain on leashes at all times when not in the designated relief areas
- Accessibility: The post-security location is ideal for travelers with connecting flights or those waiting at the gate
- Service Animals Welcome: Both facilities accommodate service animals and traveling pets
