Location: Between Concourses A and C

Jacksonville International Airport's indoor pet and service animal relief area opened in November 2016 and is strategically located between Concourses A and C, near the Food Court. This facility allows traveling pets to relieve themselves after passing through security without leaving the secured area.

Features: * Size: Approximately 22' x 36' with an 8' wide entrance corridor * Surface: Artificial K9 turf that drains and can be hosed down * Amenities: * Colorful fire hydrant * Mock front porch area with seating * Handwashing sink * Pick-up bag dispenser * Waste receptacles * Maintenance: Automatic flush system runs every 45 minutes; floor slopes to sanitary sewer drain * Comfort: Dedicated air handling equipment keeps area odor-free * Connectivity: Airport PA system extended to area for flight announcements; monitored by CCTV

Pre-Security (Landside)

Location: Outside Baggage Claim

An outdoor pet relief area is located outside Baggage Claim on the south side of the terminal, near baggage belt 8. This facility serves travelers who have not yet passed through security or are arriving at JAX.

Using the Pet Relief Stations

Access: * Post-security area is accessible only after TSA checkpoint * Pre-security area is open to all travelers and meeters/greeters

Pet Travel Tips: * Pets must remain on leashes when not in designated relief areas * Contact your airline in advance about pet travel requirements * Allow extra time for pet relief stops before boarding
