Main Terminal - Near Security Checkpoint

Located just past the security checkpoint, adjacent to the food court area. This is an indoor pet relief area featuring:

• Surface: Artificial turf with drainage system below
• Cleaning: Hose available for washing away liquid waste into drain
• Supplies: Free waste bags and sink for hand washing
• Nearby Amenities: Tables near the pet relief station provide a quieter area if needed

This facility opened in 2021 and eliminates the need for passengers to exit the terminal and re-clear security.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Outside Terminal - First Floor

Located outside the terminal on the first floor, across the road from the passenger pick-up area. Access via the east crosswalk.

• Supplies: Plastic bags and waste disposal container provided

Important Rules

• Leash Requirement: All animals must remain in their carrier or on a leash at all times when not in the designated relief area
• Waste Disposal: Disposal containers are provided at both locations

Additional Information

Boise Airport (BOI) became a medium hub airport and added the post-security pet bathroom as an FAA requirement. Both the indoor and outdoor dog relief stations are equipped with necessary supplies for convenient use by service animals and pets traveling through the terminal.
