Indoor Pet Relief Area

Main Concourse

• Located on the Main Concourse, between the North Checkpoint and Central Checkpoint.
• This is CLE's indoor pet relief station for pets and service animals.
• The airport's pages do not say whether this area is before or after security. Look for airport signage or ask airport staff for directions.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Baggage Claim (Outdoor)

• Located outside the terminal near Baggage Claim 1, between the parking garage and the terminal entrance.
• This outdoor dog bathroom and service animal area is useful before check-in, after arrival, or for visitors.

Amenities & Rules

• Supplies: Pet waste pickup bags and a trash receptacle are provided. Owners must clean up after their pets.
• Who may enter the terminal with an animal: Pets are generally not allowed inside the terminal. The exceptions are:
  • Service animals assisting a person with a disability, including seeing-eye dogs
  • Law enforcement animals on duty
  • Animals being delivered to or picked up from an airline for transport
• Carrier requirement: Ticketed passengers must keep pets in an airline-approved carrier at all times, except while going through security checkpoints.
• Visitors: Non-traveling visitors may not bring pets into any part of the terminal, including baggage claim and the ticket lobby, unless the animal is a service animal.
