Pet Relief Area

The Des Moines International Airport provides a designated pet relief area for service animals and pets. This area is located outside the terminal by the parking garage, north of the skywalk. The space is fenced and includes a fake fire hydrant to accommodate pets' needs.

Accessibility

Only ticketed passengers traveling with a pet or a service animal are allowed to have the animal in the airport. Pets must be in a carrier at all times while inside the terminal.
