Pre-Security (Landside)
Baggage Claim Level
Located outside the east doors on the lower level baggage claim area, across the lower level roadway near the covered walkway. This is an outdoor pet relief station accessible before passing through security. The area is conveniently positioned near the new covered walkways that connect the Surface Lot and Parking Garage to the terminal's baggage claim level.
Post-Security (Airside)
Terminal Rotunda
Located in the stairwell next to the elevator in the rotunda. This indoor pet relief area is accessible after clearing the TSA security checkpoint, allowing travelers with connecting flights or those who have already passed through security to access a service animal relief station without leaving the secure area.
Important Travel Rules
- Carriers Required: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires that all dogs be kept in carriers or crates at all times in the airport, except when passing through security.
- TSA Screening: You must remove your pet from their carrier and walk them through the metal detector. Only carriers go through the x-ray machines.
- Documentation: Keep your dog's boarding pass readily available, as airport screeners may request to see it.
