Post-Security (Airside)
Tampa International Airport offers service animal relief areas at each of its four Airsides (A, C, E, and F). These convenient pet bathroom facilities are located on the gate level in covered, enclosed spaces, so you won't need to travel far after clearing security.

Pre-Security (Landside)
Main Terminal - Baggage Claim Level
Four outdoor pet relief stations are located just outside the Main Terminal building on the Baggage Claim Level. These grassy areas are positioned across the vehicle drives and provide easy pre-security access for arriving passengers and visitors with service animals.
Blue Express Arrivals Area
An additional outdoor relief area is available at the Blue Express Arrivals section, offering another convenient pre-security option.

Carrier Requirements
- Non-service animals must remain in pet carriers at all times when moving throughout the airport
- Pets may only be removed from carriers when using designated pet relief areas
- Animals without carriers must be kept on a leash within 5 feet of their owner

- Use extra care when boarding trains, shuttles, and elevators
- Pets are not permitted in food establishments
- Only service animals and pets traveling with ticketed passengers are allowed in the airport
TSA Screening Tips
- Pet carriers must go through the X-ray machine without the pet inside
- Keep your pet leashed when removing them from the carrier during screening

Look for "Service Animal" signage near restrooms and gate areas on each Airside. For Main Terminal locations, follow signs to the Baggage Claim Level and exit through the designated doors to access the outdoor grassy areas.
