Post-Security (Airside)

Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) has no pet relief station inside the Terminal, including past the TSA security checkpoint. Take your pet or service animal to the outdoor dog bathroom area before you go through security.

Amenities & Rules

• Supplies: Waste bags are available at the pet relief area.
• Only use the designated area: The airport asks that pets not relieve themselves anywhere else on airport grounds.
• Which animals are allowed: Animals are prohibited at SBA unless they are certified service animals or are registered with an airline for air travel. Check with your airline for its specific requirements.
• Leash or carrier rule: All animals must be leashed or kept in a proper travel carrier at all times on airport property.
• Plan ahead: There is no relief area past security, so give your pet a bathroom break before you get in the TSA line.
