Post-Security (Airside)
Terminal 1, Concourse C
Location: Next to Gate C10
Directions: From Gate C10, follow the hallway towards Gate C12. The indoor Service Animal Relief Area (SARA) is located on the right wall just past Gate C10.
Details: This is an indoor facility measuring approximately 10' x 8'. It includes: - Artificial turf relief pad - Sink with water hose - Paper towels - Accessible 24/7 when inside security
Terminal 3, Rotunda
Location: Between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 (Post-Security)
Directions: From the Rotunda, take the hallway towards Terminal 2. The SARA is immediately on the left.
Details: Indoor relief station with sink, relief pad, and water hose. Accessible at all times when airside.
Terminal 3, Concourse L
Location: Near Gate L26
Directions: Located at the end of the hall across from the windows.
Details: Indoor pet relief area. Open 24/7 for service animals.
Note: The Terminal 3 Main Hall SARA is currently closed due to construction.
Terminal 5 (International Terminal)
Locations: 1. Near Gate M8 – From Gate M8, follow the hallway towards Gate M7. The SARA is on the left, immediately past M8. 2. Near Gate M28 – Indoor facility accessible post-security. 3. Sterile Corridor – Prior to the Customs and Border Protection area. 4. International Baggage Claim Area – Post-customs relief area.
Details: Each indoor SARA is approximately 10' x 8' and includes a sink, relief pad, paper towels, and water hose.
Pre-Security (Landside)
Terminal 1 – Lower Level
Location: Outside Door 1A (Arrivals Level), near United Baggage Claim #15
Directions: Exit through Terminal 1 Lower Level Door 1A. Turn left. The outdoor SARA is within a black fence, approximately 40 steps from the exit door.
Details: Outdoor, gated area (approximately 16' x 10') with a latch. Accessible 24/7.
Terminal 2 – Lower Level
Location: Outside Door 2E (Arrivals Level), near Baggage Claim #1
Directions: Exit through Terminal 2 Lower Level Door 2E. Turn right. The SARA is within a black fence, approximately 50 steps from the exit. The gate is on the far side of the fence.
Details: Outdoor, gated relief area accessible at all times.
Terminal 5 – Lower Level
Location: Outside Door 5B (Arrivals Level), near Baggage Claim 10
Directions: Exit through Terminal 5 Lower Level Door 5B. The SARA is within a black fence, approximately 50 steps from the exit door.
Details: Outdoor, fenced area open 24/7.
Multi-Modal Facility (Rental Cars/Lot F)
Location: Outside Door 6
Directions: Exit through Door 6, turn right. The SARA is within a black fence, approximately 50 steps from the exit door.
Details: Outdoor, gated relief area accessible at all times.
Amenities & Rules
What's Provided:

- Outdoor SARAs: Gated, fenced areas with latches
- Waste disposal is available at all locations
Important Rules:
- All animals must be accompanied and leashed by the owner at all times.
- Service animals must remain on leash when not in the relief area.
- Indoor facilities are accessible 24/7 when airside; outdoor areas are always accessible.
