Pre-Security (Landside)
Juneau International Airport provides two designated pet relief areas for travelers with dogs and service animals:
Rental Car Parking Lot Location
Located next to the rental car parking lot, this outdoor pet relief station is easily accessible for travelers arriving or departing. The area is equipped with waste bags for convenient cleanup.
North Terminal Location
A second pet relief area is situated at the end of the north terminal. This outdoor facility also provides waste bags for pet owners.
Airport Pet Policies
- Leash Requirement: All pets must be kept in kennels or on leashes while inside the airport terminal.
- Waste Disposal: Complimentary waste bags are provided at both relief areas. Pet owners are required to clean up after their animals.
Service Animal Relief Area
Both locations accommodate service animals traveling through Juneau International Airport. A Service Animal Relief Area (SARA) map dated August 31, 2024, is available through the airport's official resources.
