Miami International Airport offers four indoor pet relief areas located beyond security checkpoints. These facilities are specifically designed for service animals and pets traveling with passengers.

Concourse D (North Terminal)

• Location: Near Gate D34
• Type: Indoor relief station
• Features: Synthetic grass, fire hydrant, disposable waste bags, and sink

Concourse F (Central Terminal)

• Location: Near Gate F7

Pre-Security (Landside) Pet Relief Areas

Miami International Airport provides three outdoor pet relief areas located near the parking structures at the arrivals level. These are ideal for pets before check-in or after baggage claim.

North Terminal (Concourse D)

• Location: Level 1 Baggage Claim/Arrivals, across from Door 5
• Type: Open outdoor area west of the North (Dolphin) garage
• Features: Waste disposal stations

Central Terminal (Concourse F)

• Location: Level 1 Baggage Claim/Arrivals, across from Door 15
• Type: Fenced outdoor area west of the South Short Term Parking lot
• Status: Temporarily Closed Due to Construction

South Terminal (Concourse J)

Important Notes

• Pets and service animals must remain on leashes at all times when not in designated relief areas
• The outdoor relief area at Terminal F (Door 15) is temporarily closed due to construction—use Terminal D or J alternatives
• For travelers with extended layovers, post-security indoor facilities offer convenient access without having to exit and re-clear security
