Post-Security (Airside)

Memphis International Airport offers two Service Animal Relief Areas (SARA) inside the secure terminal:

Near B Checkpoint

Located beside B Checkpoint on the secure side, next to the family restroom. This indoor pet relief station provides convenient access for travelers immediately after passing through security.

Concourse Area

A second indoor pet relief area is located between the rotunda and Gate 9. This facility is part of the modernized concourse and serves passengers throughout the terminal.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Two outdoor pet relief areas are available before security:

Baggage Claim A

Located at Baggage Claim A on the Ground Level. Exit Terminal A and look for the grassy area to the left. This outdoor service animal area provides a natural grass surface.

Baggage Claim C

Located at Baggage Claim C on the Ground Level. Exit Terminal C and look for the grassy area to the right. This outdoor dog bathroom features a grass surface for pet comfort.

Rules & Requirements

• Service Animals: Permitted inside the terminal when properly restrained by a leash or harness
• Pets for Transport: Must be confined in approved travel containers while inside the airport building
• Outside the Building: Pets must be restrained by leash or confined in travel containers
• Airline Policies: Check with your specific airline regarding their criteria for accepting pets for travel
