Salt Lake City International Airport provides two pet relief areas in Concourse A for travelers with service animals or pets:
- Near Gate A9 – Indoor service animal relief station accessible after passing through security

Both locations are designated specifically for relieving animals and are clearly marked on airport terminal maps.

- West side of the terminal, ground level – One outdoor animal relief station is available before entering the airport. This location is ideal for passengers arriving by car or those who need to relieve their pet before checking in.
Airport Pet Policies
Passengers traveling through Salt Lake City International Airport with animals must keep pets in a crate, kennel, or other approved container at all times, except in designated relief areas.
Exceptions apply to: * Service animals that are trained (or being trained) and registered to assist people with disabilities * Therapy dogs accompanied by a licensed organization * Working law enforcement animals
