Post-Security (Airside)

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has pet relief stations inside security for travelers with connections or long waits at the gate. The airport's official pages say there are "two" relief stations within security, but they list three gate locations. All three are included below. If you can't find a station, confirm on the official Airport Terminal Map.

Concourse A

• Near Gate A9: A service animal area inside security, toward the western part of Concourse A.
• Near Gate A34: A second dog bathroom option inside security, farther down Concourse A.

Concourse B

• Near Gate B20: The pet relief station inside security for passengers departing from or connecting through Concourse B.

Pre-Security (Landside)

Main Terminal (Outdoor)

• West side of the terminal: One animal relief station is located outside the airport building, on the west side of the terminal. This is the best option before you check in, after you claim your bags, or if you arrive with time to spare before going through TSA screening.

Amenities & Rules

• Finding the stations: The airport directs travelers to its Airport Terminal Map to locate each animal relief station.
• Containment rule: Animals traveling through the airport must stay in a crate, kennel or other approved container.
• Exceptions: The following animals do not need to be in a container:
  • Therapy dogs accompanied by a licensed organization
  • Working law enforcement animals
  • Service animals that are trained (or being trained) and registered to assist people with disabilities
