Owner/Guardian REDACTED NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION Description of the Incident: Escape Description of the Cause of the Incident: Animal was connecting from an international flight from MUC. Upon arrival of the aircraft at ORD the cargo doors were opened for unloading at which time we discovered the cat loose in the cargo hold of the aircraft. It immediately escaped from the aircraft and ran down the tarmac. It was eventually seen scaling the tarmac perimeter fence. Description of any corrective action taken: Shipping container appeared to be in good condition however, we are raising awareness to ensure releasable cable ties are well positioned to minimize successful escape attempts from the kennel.
