Description of Incident: 4-year-old "Sage," a mixed lab, arrived with self-inflicted injuries in Newark, NJ.
Cause of Incident: Sage appeared to have chewed through crate resulting in a lost incisor and broken nail. She was taken immediately to the vet where the owner elected to postpone medical recommendation to admit Sage for diagnostics and fluids. Under owner discretion, pet was discharged in good condition.
Corrective Action Taken: Self-inflicted, no corrective action required.
