Description of Incident: On arrival into ANC on its scheduled flight from SEA, ramp agents reported that a 24 year old male cockatiel named Tipper was not moving and appeared to be lifeless. Alaska Airlines management personnel informed the owners directly who confirmed that the animal was deceased.

Cause of Incident: On arrival into ANC on its scheduled flight from SEA, ramp agents reported that a 24 year old male cockatiel named Tipper was not moving and appeared to be lifeless. Alaska Airlines management personnel informed the owners directly who confirmed that the animal was deceased. These is no evidence to suggest that the airline's handling contributed to the animal's death. Corrective Action Taken: No corrective actions required.
