February 2020 Airline Pet Travel Report

December had one death of a bird and one injury of a dog both with Alaska Airlines.

Upon arrival in Anchorage, the dog was found in good condition but with bloody paws from what appeared to be from scratching the back of the kennel during transport.

Also upon arrival in Anchorage, a 24 year old cockatiel bird, named Tipper, was found not moving and later confirmed deceased. The cause was unknown.
