Description of Incident: Upon arrival in CLT, it was discovered the puppy was unresponsive. The puppy was transported to the Animal Healthcare Center in Charlotte, NC for medical assessment, where it was verified that the puppy perished. The remains were taken to the Griffin Animal Disease Lab for a necropsy.

Cause of Incident: Necropsy determined death was from pre-existing condition. Pulmonary congestion, pneumothorax
