Delta reports the loss of a six year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. The plastic kennel bottom door hinge pivot point was broken and allowed the door to open when pushed by the dog. At the time of the report, the dog has not been found.

Hawaiian Airlines reported the death of a Miniature English Bulldog on a flight from Honolulu, HI to Hilo, HI. They left the kennel with dog inside it on the tarmac while more freight was being offloaded. After unloading the freight, the dog and kennel were then transferred to Hilo Cargo Terminal.
