February 2019 Airline Pet Travel Report

The February, 2019 Airline Pet Travel Report contains pet incidents for the month of December, 2018.

Alaska Airlines had an injury on a flight from Anchorage to Juneau of an Abyssinian dog which had escaped during flight as the kennel door separated from the kennel. The dog had small lacerations on the face and front paws. Cause is unknown.

United Airlines had a death of a cat on a flight that arrived in Houston, TX. The cat appeared to have cardiac failure.
