Pet incidents for the month of January, 2019.

Delta Airlines had a death of a dog this month on a trip originating in Albany, NY with a transfer and overnight kenneling in Detroit, MI destined for San Francisco, CA. While in Detroit, the dog was walked by kenneling services in the evening and appeared to be in good health. The next morning, the dog was found unresponsive when being picked up for its flight to San Francisco. According to medical reports, the dog died from a tumor as well as a heart condition.
