The February 2025 Air Travel Consumer Report, released by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), brings encouraging news for pet owners: no incidents involving the loss, injury, or death of animals during air transportation were reported for December 2024.
The DOT's Air Travel Consumer Report is a monthly publication designed to assist consumers with information on the quality of services provided by airlines. It includes data on flight delays, mishandled baggage, oversales, consumer complaints, and reports of animal incidents. The February 2025 report provides data for December 2024.
