November 2019 Airline Pet Travel Report

Delta Airlines had a death of Chihuahua mix dog during transport to flight at Los Angeles, CA. The dog was traveling with a Jack Russell Terrier mix, both accepted in good condition at LAX where the Chihuahua mix dog was found unresponsive during transport. Medical report notes a pre-existing medical condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy for the cause of death.

United Airlines had two injuries this month, both self-inflicted.
