November 2023 Airline Pet Travel Report

For this month we had one loss and one injured, both with Alaska Airlines.

On Sept. 8th, a 3.5 year old Terrier Mix on Flight 549 from St. Louis, MO to Seattle, WA escaped the kennel and baggage cart by chewing through the metal grate while being loaded onto the ramp but was recovered safely the next morning and returned to its owner.

On September 19th, a 3 year old Border Collie was injured on Flight 620 from Seattle to Denver due to unsecured cargo sliding into its kennel causing damage.
