This month we have one death to report.
On May 16, 2026, a French Bulldog named Guapo passed away while traveling as cargo on Alaska Airlines Flight 802 from Honolulu, HI to Los Angeles, CA. Guapo arrived at the cargo warehouse unresponsive after coming off the aircraft and was determined to have passed away. There were no anomalies noted with the shipment. The cause of death is unknown; the owner declined a necropsy, as she was traveling from out of state and wished to bring Guapo home. With no root cause identified, no corrective actions were reported.
